After a long day running the garage sale and packing it all up on Saturday, we headed to Oglesby’s Summer Fest. I took Bo last year, but this year we all went together as a family. Clara’s only ride was the cars, but Anna was ready and willing to ride Dumbo with Bo and the mini-roller coaster with Bo and me. Bo and I also went down the big slide together. We saw several families we knew and a few of Bo’s preschool friends, which thrilled him to no end. Bo remembered the duck pond from last year – and this year Bo won a green car and the Clara and Anna won cheap plastic jewelry and little purses. We capped off our evening with Italian ice before heading home to bed.
Looks like so much fun! There was a carnival right before we headed to IL that we skipped because there weren’t any little kid rides. I hope to some day take them to one.
