On Saturday morning after breakfast, Mike and Bo headed to Home Depot to participate in their Kid’s Workshop. These are held the first Saturday of every month and I’ve been thinking about sending Bo for awhile and thanks to a reminder on Facebook Friday night, it finally happened. The workshop is free and each child receives an apron, pin, plus the kit to make the craft that month. This month’s craft was a snowman napkin holder. Mike said he tried to convince Bo to paint the snowman white, but he wasn’t interested. I think the blue and black snowmen turned out cute anyway – despite the fact that they are wearing scarves as pants. :) Thanks to Mike for providing great pictures.

Clara, Anna, and I headed to the mall while Bo did his project. The girls played in the play area and then we walked the entire mall together. They did great! We even shopped a bit at The Limited and Marshall’s and they were cooperative and elicited many smiles from other mall patrons. How old do you think they need to be before I can take them for pedicures? ;)

What a cute craft! Too bad the closest Home Depot is 1.5 hours away.

His snowman turned out cute! They were right next to my munchkins and I when we were making the projects (I was the mom with the paint in clothes warning in case your husband told you)
