I did NOT jump ship and all but abandon the blog for nearly a week. I have super human powers that allow me to accomplish everything I need to each day, including blogging.
I am NOT even slightly excited that the girls will be 4 months old this week. I am NOT hopeful that starting solid food will buy me a little bit more sleep.
I am NOT slightly concerned that I am going to have to change my eating habits soon as the girls drink less milk. I have NOT been eating like a ravenous pig for the last 4 months, while losing weight.
There is no way that I am crazy enough to meet with another Dean about more classes. I am NOT already totally overwhelmed by too much work and trying to be a good mom. I never take on too much! NOT ME!!
I would NEVER pester my husband about my unrealistic desire for a housekeeper. And I definitely would NOT nag him about the disheveled state of our house so much that he would give in by simply cleaning the house himself. (Thanks, Mikey!)
I would NEVER talk my hubby to death regarding the million worries that are currently floating around in my mind regarding my jobs and motherhood. I never off-load my thoughts through diarrhea of the mouth. I can always come up with proactive solutions to my problems, on my own, without any help from others.
I definitely did NOT give Katie the choice of cooking or changing a diaper this weekend by saying, “Poop or pork?” We are very proper and civilized here at Chez Sticky Feet – we wouldn’t consider talking about bodily functions around food or asking Katie to do anything outside of her job description when she is technically off duty.

I am currently working hard to get rid of the weight that I put on after nursing stopped. I can relate to the eating a ton and losing weight with nursing….Good luck!
good luck on getting a housekeeper!
we have one, she is wonderful. she dusts things that haven't been touched in years!
Poop or Pork! HA HA HA!
I didn't get to eat extra and BF'ing didn't help me loose any weight at all… I am soo jealous!
Here is to more sleep! (My boys started sleeping through the night at 4 months… since they have turned 4 I am not getting any sleep though as one of them keeps waking up… so sleep when you can!
)
What else are hubbies good for?? You're welcome for cleaning my own house!
My hubby is also in denial about getting a house cleaner! He has been picking up double duty, since my growing pains and sciatica nerve pain has made our house not even look like "our" house lately. I am still holding on and trying to make it without, but, I can already see what is coming in the near future when I get as big as a barn. Sigh! Here's to wishing I guess!
You are crazy if you are going to add another class, but crazy is what also makes us normal.
