Bo sits on his Lightening McQueen chair (an early gift from Aunt Manny) to start his second birthday!
Mike took half the day off work and we opened presents when Bo woke up from his nap. It was nice because the girls were napping in their cribs so we could focus totally on Bobo.
One of Bo’s favorite gifts were these Take Along Thomas
trains.
The discovery of a new kitchen
was also a positive.
Bobo’s kitchen!
Two candles for our big two year old!
Mmmm… cupcake!
Bo climbs in his new big boy bed that Grandpa Jim made for him!
Bo was thrilled by his new car bed. (More details and pictures soon)
Bo talks to Uncle Tom during his family party on Saturday.
Bo’s big birthday cake! Cars!!
Anna and Clara made an appearance in their cute squirrel outfits and hung out in their bouncies during part of Bo’s party.
Mmmm… more birthday cake!
Bo and Charlie play with one of the many new cars he received.
Bo shows that he has some of Mommy and Daddy’s organizational genes as he lines up his cars.
I somehow managed to shoot all of the video from this weekend in “nightshot“. I’m so ticked at myself. If you know how to fix this, please let me know.
Below are two videos from Bo’s birthday weekend. The first video is of Bo blowing out his candles on his birthday cupcake at home on Friday evening. The second video is of him receiving his big present from Mike and I — his new kitchen. I hope to upload more videos to YouTube from the weekend soon.
It was a very happy birthday and many thanks to everyone who made it such a special few days!

Very cute! I'm glad he had such a nice birthday. And ooh, I was eyeing that very kitchen set in a catalog that arrived on Saturday. You'll have to let me know how it holds up.
Looks like he had an awesome birthday! We are looking forward to LG's this week.
Happy Birthday, Bo!! It sounds like he had a great day!
It looks like he had such a great birthday! Our kitchen is the most played with item by all three of the kids.
Aww, happy big day little boy! I swear I can't believe he's two already. I hope he enjoys the kitchen as much as Emery enjoys hers. She's always cooking up soup or cookies and having me eat them. It's amazing to watch her play in it.
Love the pic of lining up cars. The apple doesn't fall far, eh?
So cute!
Now you need a shopping cart and lots of food and eating utensils for Christmas
It looks like he had a blast celebrating the big 0-2. Love that kitchen, too!
How cute is your little Bo? I am planning a Cars themed party for my soon to be four yr old son and would LOVE to see a more detailed picture of your cake… I am trying to make it myself!
So sorry I missed it, but I can't wait to see you next weekend!!
Loving all the pics! So glad he likes his trains. Mine play with those and cars more than anything else we have! I can't believe how big the girls looked too!
MUST KNOW! Where'd you get the great birthday shirt? Hoping you ordered it online…have a December bday boy and love that shirt!
Also: YOUR FLOORS ARE SO CLEAN THEY'RE REFLECTIVE. There should be an award for this. 3 small children and not a smudge, dustball, or chocolate handprint in sight? Amazing.
