Around the time Bo was born, I started reading Heather’s blog The Spohr’s are Multiplying. Maddie was born 11 weeks premature, and just 9 days before Bo. I’ve followed Heather’s blog religiously and I have enjoyed watching Maddie grow and reading about her mischief and antics.
Yesterday, the unthinkable happened. Maddie passed away.
My heart breaks with the pain that Heather and Mike are experiencing. Maddie was truly a beautiful and precious little girl who has touched countless people during her short life.

I too am in complete shock. I saw this last night as soon as they posted and I just couldn’t believe it. I still can’t believe it. My heart breaks for them.
There are no words adequate. I haven’t followed their blog, and the site seems to be down at the moment. I wish them peace at some point in the future.
The website doesn’t seem to be working right now, but I’ll check it later…so sad.
