After the dough was ready I scooped it out on to the parchment. I was happy that there was no refridgeration needed for these. Last week’s cookies took patience — which is not a virtue I have!!

Mike wasn’t a big fan of these cookies. He thought they were too cake-like. My mom ate one bite and didn’t want any more… Not her type of cookie either. To avoid the nickname, Thunderina (for my huge thighs after eating an entire batch of cookies myself), I took them to school where they were a hit with teachers and yearbook girls.
Or at least I think they were — I brought home an empty container…
That cookie dough…I wanted to frost a cake with it!
Nothing says approval like an empty container : )
I like a chewy cookie, so these were a big hit. I’m sure you’re very popular with the staff.
I like chewy cookies, too. Whenever I bake cookies they turn out like little round bricks. I wouldn’t wish them on my worst enemy (but Jeremy the baker does love our kitchenaid mixer).

by all means, give them to the little skinny HS girls. you do NOT look like a thunderina type of girl. (i saw that pre-Bo tummy pic – you SUCK.)

I liked the soft, cakey texture of these cookies, too. I don’t mind malt but it’s not my favorite, either, so I kept trying to think of other things to put into them…
