Bo’s Favorite Book

Bo is starting to show a preference for certain things. He loves Tigers, the color orange, chasing the cats, etc. (Hum… Mommy loves these things too…) One of the most amazing aspects of his personality is his curiosity and interest in everything. He definitely loves to be read to and has already found a favorite book. He loves this book and he will sit still, listen, and look at the pages over and over again. Needless to say, you should purchase Whose Nose and Toes? for your little one. Bo is totally in love with it and if it can get an 8 month old to sit still and enjoy reading — well, I think that is a testament to its greatness. (Thanks to Carrie for originally recommending this book on her blog!) Enjoy this clip of Bo and his favorite book. I love how intent he is and his obvious excitement. The large strings of drool are an added bonus!

I set the camera up on the footstool yesterday afternoon. :)

Absolutely adorable!!!! So cute how he’s showing his preferences already. A couple of my kids’ favorites are The Very Hungry Caterpillar (board book because it has holes that are fun to put your fingers in) and Little Quack Hide and Seek. They are also enjoying the Disney books I kept from when I was a kid.

    Cute video!

    His curiosity is just starting–

Everything seems to be of interest to him at this age, just wait, one day he will be able to walk over and pick a book out himself. Then after you have read it a million times, you will know, that must be his favorite.

After we took Bree to the Zoo last year, I made a picture book of all the animals (just in a kid friendly photo album) and for the last year, ask Dez, she has pulled out that book from numerous hiding places and wants everyone to look at it with her. It is nothing fancy, but for her–it must be her favorite.

Keep that camera ready–I enjoy the videos and pictures.
