It’s opening day for our favorite baseball team! Go Cubbies!! Bo can’t wait to watch his first Cubs game with Daddy!

All pictures were taken in our very own Friendly Confines.
P.S. Thanks to Aunt Manny for another cute outfit. Aunt Manny sure knows how to pick the outfits that Bo will be photographed in!

Warning, long comment ahead:
Bo is cute in his Cub’s outfit!
Having watched my mom just grind up for the babies whatever the older kids were eating in her daycare, I was wondering how we were going to do it with LG. You gave me some great ideas. We eat pretty healthy, but I don’t really want to eat squash every day for a week while he is trying it out and I don’t want the whole squash to go to waste. I haven’t read any books yet, just skimmed a couple websites. We’re waiting until after his 4 month check-up to see if the doc thinks he is ready. I’m not sure he is yet.
I have a suggestion on the feeding schedule. Before you change Bo to the 4 hour feeding schedule, think about how you eat. Do you eat every 4 hours? I don’t. Two of the books I read were proponents of feeding babies every 4 hours. As I was listening to LG scream because the book said to never feed him sooner than the longest gap between feedings, I was eating a banana. I realized I had eaten twice in the 3 hours while I was trying to hold him off. I looked at my schedule and realized that I eat a small breakfast everyday because that is all I need but 1-2 hours later I am hungry again. I decided that since I can’t go 4 hours, I’m not making LG do it. Right now we are at about 3 hours and that seems about right. As he gets older I may have meals about 4 hours apart but then offer a light snack in the morning and afternoon. If the 4 hour schedule works for Bo, go for it. I just realized that it wasn’t realistic for us and wanted to share my experience.
I’m so excited for the season! I can see it now… up to bat… Bo!
So cute, even if it’s the “Cubs” haha!!(Gotta give you some Cardinals love.) The photo where he is sitting up with just the monkey is great! Such a big boy!! It’s a great glimpse of what he’ll look like a few years from now!!
You say that now, wait till I find the cardinals jersey!
Love~
